We are a small consulting company which offers Architectural Consulting Services to HOAs. Most HOA CC&R’s require that all owner upgrades/improvements are approval by the HOA’s Architectural Review Committee. Most management companies do not provide this service for their HOAs leaving this task to the volunteer Board of Directors to complete. Unfortunately, board members cannot usually get compensated for processing these architectural review submittals nor may they have the technical background for properly examining the owner’s submittal packets.

If approved by your HOA Board, our company can act as an Independent Architectural Consultant for your HOA. Our services can be fully paid for by the homeowner directly; subsequently, there is no cost to the HOA for architectural reviews. Since the payment can be made directly to our company, there will be no invoicing sent to the HOA to burden the HOA’s accounting process. However, if the HOA wishes to make architectural approvals a profit center, we can certainly invoice the HOA for our services on monthly basis.

Our company President, Esa Harvela, has served as a President of two different high-rise HOAs in downtown San Diego for a number of years. He fully understands an HOA’s inner-workings and has a history of providing friendly and accurate services to homeowners. He has also completed a number of high-end remodels himself so he is intimately familiar with performing improvements and upgrades in complex buildings.
